Event pass or monthly plan? A straightforward way to decide

One event or many? Compare JODNA's one-off event passes against its monthly plans using the published prices, so you only pay for the months you actually use.

JODNA sells two shapes of the same product. A subscription runs month to month (or year to year) and covers everything your plan allows for as long as it is active. An event pass covers one event for one price, with no recurring commitment.

The decision is not about which is better. It is about how many events you have in the next twelve months, and whether the work between events still needs the app.

The published prices

Every figure below is exclusive of 18% GST. Annual billing on a subscription is ten monthly payments — two months free.

The arithmetic for an exhibitor

The Exhibitor Event Pass costs ₹499 for one event. The Counter plan costs ₹999 a month.

So the crossover is simple: if a single month of Counter would cover two or more of your events, the subscription is cheaper than two passes. If you exhibit once or twice a year at shows that fall in different months, passes cost less and require no cancellation discipline.

There is a second difference worth pricing in: a pass covers the event, while Counter covers the months in between — product catalogue, stall page, reports, and the customer list you are building across events. If you use the app as your billing counter week to week and not just at shows, the monthly plan is the one that matches how you actually work.

The arithmetic for an organizer

An Organizer Event Pass is ₹2,999 and an Organizer Growth Event Pass is ₹6,999. Starter is ₹999 a month and Growth is ₹2,999 a month.

Run one event a year and a pass is the obvious answer — Starter for twelve months costs ₹11,988, roughly four times the ₹2,999 pass. Run three events spread across a year and the comparison flips: three Organizer Event Passes cost ₹8,997, while Starter at ₹999 a month is ₹11,988 for the year, or ₹9,990 if you pay annually and take the two free months.

The pass and the plan are not quite identical products, either: the pass is scoped to a single event, while a plan covers every event inside its limits and keeps your exhibitor history in one place between shows.

Three questions that settle it

  1. How many events in the next twelve months? One or two, in different months → passes. Three or more, or two in the same month → check the plan.
  2. Do you need the app between events? If your counter or your stall page runs all year, a monthly plan is doing work a pass does not.
  3. Do you want to think about renewals? Passes never auto-renew. Subscriptions do, which is either convenience or a bill you have to remember — your call.

Practical notes

  • GST: all prices above exclude 18% GST. Budget the inclusive amount, not the headline.
  • Grace: the Exhibitor Event Pass includes two extra days so late billing on the last night of a show still lands in the event.
  • Downgrade path: JODNA's exhibitor plans carry a 7-day grace period when a plan lapses, so a renewal that slips by a couple of days does not immediately lock the counter.
  • Free tier: both the exhibitor and organizer free plans are permanent, not trials. If your volume fits inside them, you do not have to choose between a pass and a plan at all.

Common questions

Is the event pass cheaper than a monthly plan?

For a single event, yes — the Exhibitor Event Pass is ₹499 against ₹999 for a month of Counter, and the Organizer Event Pass is ₹2,999 against ₹999 a month for Starter only if you need Starter for more than three months. For several events in one month, the monthly plan usually wins.

Do JODNA prices include GST?

No. Published prices are monthly (or per event) and exclude 18% GST, which is added on the invoice. Annual billing is ten monthly payments, which works out as two months free.

What happens if my plan lapses mid-event?

There is a 7-day grace period on exhibitor plans, and the Exhibitor Event Pass itself includes two extra days beyond the event so billing on the final night still counts inside the event.
